I have been very impressed with Thanadd Mawgath's engagement with the club lately. He has racked up 10 crescents since returning to activity in January, as well as killing it in the Shadow Academy with 16 courses passed. He also earned four degrees: Dark Maven - Philosophy, Dark Maven - Writing, Dark Savant - Writing and Philosophy, and Dark Maven - Lore. He has written well over 3000 words of fiction and taken part in 25 competitions in that time. But all these are things you can easily look up for yourself on the website.

What impresses me more about Mawgath is that he jumped right back in as an active voice on Telegram. He has contributed a great deal lately to discussions about the Clan's direction, his House and BT's theme and fiction, and his Battle Team's place in House Mortis. He submitted some great ideas for the Deathsworn Battle Team and led a group of us (mostly Tarentae) into some very involved conversations about the team's theme, purpose, fiction and future. Mawgath is an actively involved, productive member of Clan Tarentum. He is not afraid to roll with the Clan's leadership and speak his mind. He is always positive and constructive, with great ideas to put forward. I wish we had a dozen of him, but we are incredibly lucky just to have one.

Recently, Alara Deathbane has shown strong levels of activity and a willingness to help out the Clan by co-hosting a series of Character Development Workshops. On the activity front, his 1453 runon words, 2 Shadow Academy courses, 171 words of fiction, 1 PvP match, 1 Legion of Scholar, 1 Crescent with Amethyst star, 1 Crescent with Sapphire star, 1 Crescent with Emerald star, 2 Clusters of Ice, 1 Cluster of Fire, and 16 competitions speak for themselves. Of note, 7 of which were for the our big Clan Event ‘Midnight’, which is always great to see in important events. Two of those Midnight events, the Graphics and the Multimedia, saw her placing fifth and second respectively. In each of them, she represented her House well, especially in the under represented Multimedia competition. This sort of support for big Clan-wide events is great to see, and Alara performed admirably.

In addition, Alara has been working on some side projects. First, she was pulled in to assist her House on the Tacitus Athanasius section in the House Excidium wiki page. She also was a willing volunteer to review sections, which is equally appreciated. Second, she has co-hosted a series of Character Development workshops, along with the Clan Rollmaster, that focus the Clan on fictional development. This is a great endeavour and her efforts into setting up and grading these competitions are highly valued.

Due to this heightened level of activity and dedication to the Clan’s fictional growth, I am pleased to recommend that Alara Deathbane be awarded an Anteian Cross. Congratulations!

Jorm Na’trej has been a wonderful help to me over the last 3 months, during which he was a major contributor to two House Excidium projects: Fleet Project and the Wiki Project. His steadfast support in helping its Quaestor push the house forward has been crucial to both projects.

First off we have the Fleet Project, where Jorm was one of the key participants from the very beginning, and became one of the original authors of a 16 page ‘Excidium Order of Battle’ that was submitted to the Clan Summit in December to help inform Fleet purchases for the House. That wasn’t accepted as is, and thankfully he was willing to help revamp Excidium Fleet’s fictional story, assist in creating a new purpose for some of its ships, help create its cosmetics look, create a training plan for the Fleet, and create revamped ship formations. This was a sustained effort over three months that involved a great deal of discussion. In addition, he co-authored a 12 page ‘CSP Alternate Order of Battle’ for consideration by the Clan.

Secondly, when it came time to write a new wiki page for Excidium, he assisted in writing content for a number of its sections. These principally included its Origins, some of its Organization (along with a witty quote), the entirety of its Common Assignments Descriptions (along with a Canon Example), the entire House Dominion, and some of the Fleet section (some ship purposes details, ship formations, and training). In total, this was a decent chunk of Excidium’s wiki page. In addition, he was readily available as a reviewer for the other sections, offering comments and suggestions that were greatly appreciated.

As Excidium’s Quaestor, I eternally grateful for his crucial additions to Excidium’s future, and as such I am recommending him for a Anteian Cross. Fleet and wiki work requires a lot of detailed thought and it doesn’t get as much attention as it should. His active support has been amazing and I believe he has earned this award. Therefore, I am pleased to recommend that Jorm Na’trej be awarded a Anteian Cross with the deepest gratitude I can muster.
