Primary reason

Having only recently returned to activity because he wanted to help out his clan Ashura has already participated in more than a handful of competitions and placed in a couple of them as shown by his Crescents. Furthermore he has also shown his commitment to the wellbeing of the Clan by submitting some interesting ideas and advice to Goat and myself. As a small thank you for his return to active life in Naga Sadow I would like to reward Ashura with this Anteian Cross.

Master Malik Sadow, 2014-01-20 02:32:10 UTC
Additional reasons

In the brief time since Ashura transferred back into the Clan he used to call home, Naga Sadow has rapidly been filled with his lively enthusiasm and ever present eagerness to give back to the unit that he used to lead. Ashura has provided feedback to both Malik and myself on several of the Clan’s current issues, with his ideas providing some valued constructive advice and input. Moreover, Ashura has stepped up and helped develop his ideas without having been asked, and has been driven purely by his love of the Clan. For this, I extend my thanks to Ashura and hope this small token of our appreciation shows how much we value his continued dedication to the the Clan we both share.

Ashura recently returned from the darkness to be immediately active. Jumping right back in the flow of things, hes already participated in several competitions. He earned a Crescent with that push. He is a long standing member and has already started making bonds to motivate newer members. I believe Ashura has earned an Anteian Cross for his efforts. Welcome back Ashura!

Shirai Dupar, 2014-01-20 02:14:46 UTC

I would like to award an Anteian Cross to Ashura Isradia Sadow. Since returning from the deep space of the Rogues a month ago, he’s already knocked out numerous competitions and shown himself to be the generally awesome guy he is on the mailer. That’s just plain good behavior, and it deserves reward.

Primary reason

While his run as Aedile in Marka Ragnos was brief he was highly active for the duration, creating competitions so the members had something to do in between Crusade chapters all the while also keeping his own activity levels high, earning countless Clusters of Fire from playing TOR. I would like to thank him for his service with this Dark Cross! Congratulations Rosh!

Master Malik Sadow, 2014-01-20 02:32:26 UTC
Additional reasons

The Dark Crusades may be over but Rosh continues to be a beacon of activity. Whether it is from his regular tally of Clusters of Fire, not just from The Old Republic but from some of the Fist’s other ventures such as the Star Wars Angry Birds competition, or Rosh’s contributions to the wider Dark Brotherhood in his work for the Shadow Academy, Rosh remains an active contributor who has not fallen silent after reaching the Equites, and this Dark Cross is a small token to show that he remains a valued and appreciated member of Clan Naga Sadow.

, 2014-01-20 02:17:24 UTC

It is, I think, rare that a leader should ask a member to slow down and take a breath. After all, activity is what we look for, but in the case of truly great members, we often worry they might burn themselves out. Such is the case with Rosh. The man is a dynamo, and is constantly and consistently doing work. In gratitude, I would like to award him a Dark Cross.

This Grand Cross of the Dark Side is long overdue and I apologize for that Kairus.

During the first phase of the Dark Crusade Kairus participated in no less than 16 of the 17 events possible, which was more than anyone else in Clan Naga Sadow. Of those events he managed to earn a third place in two of them.

On top of this he was also Quaestor of House Shar Dakhan at the time so he was truly leading by example.

As an overdue thank you for his time as Quaestor and for his participation in the first phase of the Dark Crusade I would like to reward Kairus with this Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congratulations Kairus!

Additional reasons

So it's been awhile since I've been really active, but when I was Consul, I knew I could depend on Kairus. Reliable and steadfast, Kairus managed House Shar Dakhan well. He was a good participant in Summit discussions and I greatly appreciated that he did not just sit there and keep the seat warm. Without his insight, I would have been left with far fewer ideas and options.

Then, Kairus demonstrated a keen attention to the Dark Crusade, showing the his House and the Clan how it was done. He completed sixteen out of seventeen of the competitions in Phase I, which is no small feat. This was another reason I was proud to have Kairus around: there's no member better than an active Summit member who leads their House and Clan both in administration and on the battlefield.

Thanks again, Kairus! Good work!

In the two months Vaar has been back on the summit in Clan Naga Sadow he has been almost annoyingly hyperactive. He never seems to stop working on things or coming up with things for the betterment of not just his own house but the whole Clan.

Over the Christmas holidays he singlehandedly came up with the idea and created a “Newbie guide” for new members coming to Clan Naga Sadow. In it he added everything new members need to know to get a good idea of what Clan Naga Sadow and the Brotherhood is all about.

He has also been busy recruiting and training new members. On top of all of that he still has time for gaming as well, having earned a couple of hundred Clusters of Fire since his last merit medal. He has also taken it upon himself to create and run the weekly Clan Naga Sadow competition. And even with all that I don’t think he has ever missed putting out a report every Tuesday since he became Aedile.

For his hard work for his house and his clan I would like to reward Vaar with this Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congratulations Vaar!

Master Malik Sadow, 2014-01-20 02:32:02 UTC
Additional reasons

For the past several months, Vaar has been one of the hardest hitting members of Clan Naga Sadow. His activity for the Dark Crusade has already been recognised, but away from the warfront, Vaar displays his strongest skills, consistently being a central pillar of the Summit.

Whether it is in his immediate work as Aedile, working closely with Teu his Quaestor, as well as the members of House Marka Ragnos and the wider Clan, or whether it is in his broader commitment to Clan Naga Sadow, wherein Vaar has been instrumental in coordinating and directing a number of key projects in recent days. To cite just a one of Vaar’s efforts, he has recently demonstrated his commitment to the youngest members of the Dark Brotherhood in his work putting together handbooks for new members to help better acquaint them to their new home. This alone stands out, for he has worked over the holiday season to complete it, when most of the rest of the club had written themselves off from too much Christmas wine.

For the dedication he continues to give to his Clan -- at the same time as his work for the wider club in his other roles -- and the example, and commitment, he provides to the newest and most important members of the Dark Brotherhood, I wish Vaar thanks and hope he continues to be one of the rocks on which his House, Clan and friends can all depend.

, 2014-01-20 02:02:41 UTC

Vaar, this is someone who I have recently come to depend on as an Aedile for House Marka Ragnos. He goes above and beyond whatever I ask of him to do, be it poke the journeymen in the house or even come up with ideas for the current reworking on the Clan and House Lore. He delivers and it is done with excellence and in a timely manner that I have come to expect from him. He has started to put out weekly trivia competitions for the Clan. However the true reason I feel he deserves this award of a Grand Cross is because without him, I would not be able to be Quaestor. With him as my second in command, I know that if I need to take a couple days away he will be there without question running the show until I get back. His activity has been superb these last few months, during the crusades he’s managed to participate in twenty events including a bronze nova.

He has become truly a pivotal member of the House and Clan and there is no one better I would rather work with. So that you Vaar for being that awesome skittle loving guy that you are and keep it up!

Teu Buhkari Sadow, 2014-01-20 02:03:36 UTC

What can I say about this guy, he's been my QUA, my Second in Command, and now my AED. The Brotherhood could use a few more of him running around, although the place my implode from the awesome if that happened. Quick with a joke and always willing to help out with anything. Vaar, is great at any task/job he is set to and gets it done right. I have nothing but good things to say about him. This award is well deserved!

Lak Nafri, 2014-01-20 02:04:10 UTC

Vaar Mai, otherwise known as Mirus, is a pretty cool guy. I'm not in HMR, so I probably don't interact with him as much as some of his members, but I can still see a lot. His reports are top notch and interesting to read. His weekly trivia is really fun as well. He also is a really active Summit member in the competitions he can participate in. This is something CNS really needs right now. I've also witnessed him on IRC and he brings a lot of activity to the Clan channel, which is good for newer members who see that we have a fun place to be and to do stuff. I also saw hints to a Prospectus change, so I can tell that Vaar does more as a Summit member than just run competitions and do reports.

More recently, I've seen a lot more from Vaar because I've now been around more than a week. I'll try to keep this short and to the point: He has recently recruited multiple members (Shi and Rhiann come to mind). He has started or driven the Summit to work on important projects (such as the CNS leadership document). He has been a great example to other members of the Clan - both Summit and otherwise. This is exemplified in the whopping amount of Clusters of Fire he has earned lately gaming with other Clan members, and the fact that he enters nearly every competition. In addition, Vaar constantly looks for ways to improve himself, from studying other Aedile's reports to figure out how to improve his own, to outright asking other Clouse's Summit members for advice and bringing their ideas and concepts to our own Summit. And that whole paragraph was just the barebones facts of what Vaar has been up to in the past months.

This guy is what every Summit member should be, but I don't think many of us could compete with Vaar's dedication and activity. I can't think of a member more deserving of a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congrats on your award, Vaar!

Epis Locke Sonjie, 2014-01-20 02:04:49 UTC

Vaar shows the type of tenacity you couldn't ask for someone to show. Hes always on the grind wherever. Its natural to want others to be active, Vaar shows just the blend of a competitive nature and eagerness. I feel he has a hundred and one ideas burrowed inside him when he bursts into brainstorm, always thinking of things for the clan and his house to do. Vaar has long been active in his fight for Naga Sadow to shine with or without an event. He has earned this award in fashion. Congrats Vaar!

Shirai Dupar, 2014-01-20 02:05:20 UTC

Vaar Mai came to CNS as a gamer, tried and true, and wound up evolving into one of the more well-rounded members we have. Even when not sitting on the summit, he aided his Clan in fictional development and other projects, but he’s also filled a seat or two on the summit as well. His rise has been a steady one, burning bright and with no signs of dimming. He’s taken over running constant clan trivia competitions, asking for ideas on the mailer to make sure he’s running competitions that people will want to do. He’s served Clan Naga Sadow well, and for a while now. I think it’s time we award him a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. His work shows great merit, his presence strong, and his activity constant.
