In the year long Dark Crusade Obelisk Primarch Shi Long only participated in 5 competitions, but out of those 5 competitions, he managed to score 2 gold novae and a silver novae. For this awesome display of skill, we are recommending that Shi be awarded the Anteian Cross.

BTL of Shadow Gate

Since I came back to Soulfire 4 months past, Vynn has been a welcome member of the squad, always there to help, to participate, and to succeed. Vynn is the sort of member a leader loves to have, because he is consistent, he will tell you exactly what he thinks and, more importantly, his activity makes me look better

In all serious though, Vynn's activity over this Dark Crusade doesn't quite do him justice. He managed 10 entries out of a possible 31, despite the fact that he has things which tax him outside of the Dark Brotherhood. He made time where he could, and he contributed and for this, I am extremely grateful to him. Since I came back, he has helped me to keep the squad active by being a vocal member of the group, doing events as and when he can find the time, and being a fundamentally good bloke in the bargain.

Vynn, you've been a star and I want to thank you for your hard work and dedication. I look forward to you continuing in Arcona for a long time, and hopefully you'll find this token of my appreciation acceptable.

Battleteam Leader of Soulfire Strike Team

Ah, Wes. Loud, obnoxious, brash, he is almost the atypical Australian. Dedicated, driven, fun, he is certainly Arconan. Wes is someone who I've known for a long time now, and in all of those years there has always been one consistant fact, and that is that Wes will always do as much as he can when it comes to being active. I know full well that he is a very busy person in real life, but despite that he will find ways of entering competitions, even if it taxes him to do so and means he misses out on some greatly needed beauty sleep. This fact can be seen most by his participating in 14 of 31 possible events over the Dark Crusade, despite him working a ridiculous number of hours (50-60 normally) a week in real life. He would drag himself home, force himself to stay awake so that he could contribute and help out this Clan which he loves.

However, it's not just his activity that makes Wes deserving of rewards, it is also the fact that he is there to help people. He has proofed many a fiction when he has been needed, he has helped members out in gaming so that they too can contribute to their Clan's push for victory, and not once has he asked for recognition, he does it simply because he can and he wants to help. That is a member that I want to see rewarded, because ultimately that's the sort of member who deserves it. For his hard work, his dedication, those sleepless nights and those fun filled forays onto IRC, thank you Wes for everything you've done and continue to do to help out your Clan and it's members. Keep it up bud, or I'll beat you...

Battleteam Leader of Soulfire Strike Team

Riverche has been a pleasure to work with since I came back to Soulfire as it's new BTL. Rather than sitting back, River was there to welcome me and help me to get settled by offering help where needed, by being in good communication and by being active. The ultimate trio of things that someone looks for when coming into a new position, River was a breath of fresh air to me, for which I am extremely grateful.

Not only that however, but during the Dark Crusade Riverche was on hand to participate in 17 of the possible 31 events, despite her real life being there to take attention away, she still managed to participate in more than half the events and manage to place in 4 events in the bargain, bringing home 2 Gold Nova and 2 Bronze Nova. It is not only that she is active, it's that she does things well, and for that I thank her.

Riverche has been a pleasure to lead, and continues to be a great member to have around. I know how hard it can be sometimes to balance real life and being active in the DB, but River manages it with aplomb. Her levels of activity and her help with getting me set up with the new squad, not to mention her friendly nature and approachability is something that I hope to be fortunate enough to enjoy as her BTL for the future. Congratulations River, you've more than earnt this.

River came to us a recruit from a friend, and I've had the pleasure of watching her go from barely saying a word to anyone on IRC to one of the more helpful and vocal members in the Clan when it comes to helping others. She is always the first one to attempt to answer anyone's questions (whether they are new or old) and does it with a brisk efficiency. I think the first time I saw her use an exclamation mark, I fell out of my chair. Her performance through each round of the Dark Crusade was impressive, and despite joining in the middle of all that madness she completed her Knight trials and continues to demonstrate dedication and loyalty to Clan Arcona.

Invictus is one of those guys who is vocal and visible whether he's in a leadership position or not, and he was instrumental in drumming up participation throughout the Dark Crusade. He's a savvy veteran, with a pair of recent (and highly successful) tours of Battleteam leadership.

Veterans like Vic are chronically underappreciated, because when you're an upper-level Equite and you don't have a position slapped next to your name, you're easily overlooked. But without his sound advice, his selflessness, and his diligence -- and the similar work of other Arconan veterans -- neither the Summit nor the Journeymen would be as successful.

Add on to all of these intangibles the Novae that Invictus hauled in during the Crusade, and tack on his newest star recruit, Verse Theris, and you have all of the makings of a Sapphire Blade recipient. Congratulations, Vic -- you earned this.

Proconsul of Arcona

Vic is the type of Veteran every member should be like. He bleeds for Arcona. He's an advisor to the entire Arcona Summit. He's a Magistrate to the Seneschal, but also works on coding the Arcona website. He's one of our go to guys when there needs to be a spreadsheet made. He served twice as a Battleteam Leader and was the last BTL of Void Squadron.

On Ziost, he went 4/4. He's won 5 Novae and participated in 19/31 total events during the Dark Crusade. He motivated our members to tie on Ziost and end up taking second due to participation on Ziost and the entire Dark Crusade.

Verse Theris is one of our most promising new recruits and went 4/4 on Ziost, as well and Vic was the recruiter.

Vic carries many hats, but every hat is worn for Arcona. For unwavering dedication and so much more I'm proud to be involved in awarding your second Sapphire Blade.
