The Alpha-3 Nimbus V-Wing Starfighter is a 7.9-meter-long Starfighter designed as a short-range space superiority starfighter. Hyperdrive capable by use of its detachable Syliure hyperdrive booster ring, this vessel has exceptional maneuverability and great speed, with only light armor and shielding. It can be equipped with an astromech droid for improved navigation and in-flight maintenance. First deployed in the final days of the Clone Wars, it saw continued use under the Galactic Empire before eventually being phased out and replaced with TIE/LN starfighters.
