The BT-45D U-Wing is a 25-meter long Shuttle based on the same design as the UT-60D U-Wing, but without the military additions or hyperdrive. The wings are retractable and can be positioned forward-facing or backward-facing depending on the situation. It has great maneuverability and average speed, with average armor and light shielding. Stripped of any armament and hyperdrive, it saw limited use across the galaxy during the reign of the Galactic Empire for its ability to still transport passengers.
