The Nyalsan II Planetary shield is a planetary defense shield generator. Produced by DefenStar Limited, the Nyalsan II is a shutter shield which uses overlapping fields which offers greater protection and allows for the shield to open to allow friendly ships to pass through. It cannot be used to project a shield to an orbiting body, but does benefit from having a decentralized power supply. It requires a crew of 18 to operate.
