The HK "Forty Seven Edition" Gladiator Droid is a variant of the HK-model Gladiator Droid. This droid has been heavily modified to be more versatile, more deadly, and more stealthy using a variety of upgrades from an improved processor, stronger servomotors, experimental-grade optics, hardened armor plating, and numerous protocol updates.
There can be no mistaking Kalashnikov for any other HK "Forty Seven Edition" Gladiator Droid. The droid's plating has been painstakingly coated in an application of chrome. The resulting appearance is a highly reflective silver coating that runs the risk of showing each and every minor scratch it endures.
Kalashnikov has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, Kalashnikov will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to Kalashnikov.
This HK "Forty Seven Edition" Gladiator Droid has been upgraded with an experimental electrical defense grid that allows Kalashnikov to operate at normal capacity when hit with ionized electricity, and prevents any permanent damage or loss of functionality.
An improved sensor suite has been installed inside the droid brain of Kalashnikov, allowing a much wider scanning area than a standard HK "Forty Seven Edition" Gladiator Droid.
Concealed blasters have been installed inside this HK "Forty Seven Edition" Gladiator Droid's chassis, deployable at a moments notice and allowing it to defend itself and perform ranged attacks without the need for an additional weapon.
