Prototype: Old Republic Architect Droid
The Old Republic Architect Droid is an ancient Utility Droid design used by the Old Republic and Jedi Order. It is a bipedal droid design that features two arms, with two more arms stored in a backpack module. It is capable of fulfilling any utility droid function required including piloting a starship, as well as designing, constructing, and disassembling the most sophisticated of technologies including lightsabers. Unlike most other Utility Droids it can wield lightsabers, though is usually limited only to sparring.
Old Republic Architect Droid has developed a personality around the concept of a caretaker. It has assumed the needs of its owner to be its prime directive, even such tasks that have not been requested of it. This results in Old Republic Architect Droid often flitting about in an attempt to meet any possible task before it is necessary, including menial tasks.
Old Republic Architect Droid has been altered to appear more as a token of wealth than your typical Old Republic Architect Droid. Silver paint has been applied to the droid's exterior, allowing for accented gold plating in order to create a contrast and draw attention to the supposed credit value the droid represents.
This Old Republic Architect Droid has been upgraded with an experimental electrical defense grid that allows Old Republic Architect Droid to operate at normal capacity when hit with ionized electricity, and prevents any permanent damage or loss of functionality.
An advanced toolkit has been integrated into Old Republic Architect Droid, allowing it to perform sophisticated and large-scale repairs on other droids or technology.
