The Verpine Shatter RIfle is an incredibly high powered Slugthrower rifle created by the Verpine species. It uses magnetic fields to fire small slugs at supersonic speeds, producing a distinctive and audible crack as the round breaks the speed of sound. While the rounds used in this weapon are relatively small, it's railgun like firing speed allows it to impact a target with immense force and inflict great kinetic damage. They are rare outside the Roche Asteroid Field, and incredibly fragile.

Blackout (Ranged Weapon Cosmetic)

Verpine Shatter Rifle has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this Verpine Shatter Rifle to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.

Hunting Barrel (Slugthrower Weapon Upgrade - II)

The barrel on this Verpine Shatter Rifle has been replaced with a much longer hunting barrel, making Verpine Shatter Rifle harder to conceal but greatly increasing its effective range.

Mounted Bipod (Slugthrower Weapon Enhancement - I)

The underside of this Verpine Shatter Rifle has been fitted with a two-legged bipod stand for better stability and firing accuracy.
