The Conversion Hilt Lightsaber is a variant of the lightsaber weapon. It has plasma blades powered by crystals in the hilt that determine their characteristics and color, as well as a hilt that can convert from one form to another allowing multiple configurations. These blades are capable of cutting through virtually anything including blast doors given enough time.
Conversion Hilt Lightsaber has been modified so that it can be typically stored inside a specialized accompanying sheath that conceals the majority of this Conversion Hilt Lightsaber using optical camouflage technology.
Conversion Hilt Lightsaber has a simple dark gray cylindrical hilt set with knurled circles to assist in gripping the weapon, with a clasp at the base to attach the weapon, and a bright green blade when activated.
This lightsaber has been built with a reflex grip, allowing the wielder to quickly adjust to changes in combat and provide an edge when parrying or deflecting.
