The Novitiate Brotherhood Robes are attire given to all who exit the halls of the Shadow Academy to join a Clan of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. It consists of attire designed by the Herald of the Brotherhood as a mark of position, since despite containing members of the newest and most inexperienced ranks, they are still members of the Brotherhood proper.

Chrome Pattern (Armor Cosmetic)

Novitiate Brotherhood Robes has been designed with a chrome color scheme. Each component of the armor shares the same application of chrome plating.

Armor Sealing (Armor Modification)

With various hermetic clasps and rubberized seals, Novitiate Brotherhood Robes is completely sealed off from any atmospheric threats or the vacuum of space. It contains several hours worth of breathable air, more than enough to handle the majority of most conflicts. The additional seals and air supply increases encumbrance, making the set several pounds heavier than the typical Novitiate Brotherhood Robes as well as decreasing overall mobility.

Heavy Armor (Special Armor Category)

Novitiate Brotherhood Robes provides top-level protection. This item can withstand cuts and blows but will buckle under 4-6 repeated attacks. It also protects from small arms such as low-powered blasters and smaller caliber slugthrowers, though no protection from stronger or vehicle-based weaponry.
