The XQ2 Platform is a 1,001-meter diameter circular Civilian Station, designed to hold up to 100,000 metric tons of cargo as well as highly customizable in a wide range of configurations and uses throughout the galaxy. It features a massive central hub with three large docking bays protruding from it. It is armed with twelve medium turbolaser turrets and twelve point-defense laser turrets, four of each on the ends of the three docking bays. It has shielding and hull strength similar to that of a corvette class ship, as well as space for up to four squadrons of starfighters for defense, one in each of the three docking bays and a fourth in a bottom hangar below the large central hub. It saw use from controlling star systems to commerce and scientific research.
