Prototype: Ryyk Blade

The Ryyk is a broad bladed weapon with a curved blade with a cutting edge on either side and a hilt the is wrapped in leather. It is the traditional bladed weapon of the Wookiees, and use of the weapon by any non-Wookiee is seen as an insult to their culture.

Type IV - Debilitating (Poison Weapon)

Ryyk Blade has been coated with a poison that can cause debilitating affects such as weakness, stomach pain, nausea vomiting, or diarrhea. The poison triggers on contact with the skin or bloodstream, with the most severe symptoms manifesting in the immediate area of the wound. Requires the "Poison Weapons Feat" on the Character Sheets to be effective in combat.

Finger Grips (Bladed Weapon Hilt Upgrade - I)

The handle of this Ryyk Blade has been altered to incorporate a set of rings attached to the grip that slips comfortably over the wearer's fingers to aid in weapon retention.

Serrated Edge (Bladed Weapon Enhancement - I)

Ryyk Blade has had its cutting blade serrated, allowing this Ryyk Blade to saw through materials after the blade makes contact and grind and cut-in while touching.
