BT-221 has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, BT-221 will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to BT-221.

BT-221 has recieved redundant programming and a mechanical overhaul that reinforces known weaknesses from the original design that allow this BT-16 Perimeter Droid to continue operating and survive much longer against a wide range of attacks. This programming overhaul slightly slows processing times while the mechanical fitments can slightly reduce agility.

BT-221 is a unique specimen, having been recolored in several spots. Featuring a matte chromium finish on the bulbous rear, a dull blue-black marbling across most of the body, ending in deep orange-yellow dips on the legs. Make no mistake, BT-221 was purposely painted to be able to flash the chrome as a taunt, and use the highlighted legs as a bright distraction for the poor fool who picks up gauntlet that BT-221 is dropping.
