The Lothal Astromech Droid is an astromech with a transparent dome revealing its inner mechanisms, with a cylindrical body similar in design to other astromech droids with a retractable tread leg and two main legs. It is a cheaper alternative to the more advanced R-series astromech droids but still capable.
Gura Gura has received specialized programming and upgrades around the operation of its motivators and actuators, that allow for much smoother and subtle movements than a standard Lothal Astromech Droid. This additional programming slightly reduces the reflex time and movement speeds of the droid.
Gura Gura has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, Gura Gura will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to Gura Gura.
