The PZ-series Protocol Droid is a standard protocol droid featuring a tall chassis with an elongated neck. In addition to the standard translation capabilities of other protocol droids, it is equipped with a holo-recorder that can be extended and retracted from its torso.
PZ-series Protocol Droid has developed an obsessive personality centered around the concept of self-improvement. PZ-series Protocol Droid truly believes itself to be superior to any other PZ-series Protocol Droid and capable of accomplishing great feats. This drive aids it in accomplishing its tasks, but sometimes will result in unexpected additional outcomes.
