The Viper Probe Droid is a deep-space exploration and reconnaissance probe droid used for long range scouting. It is equipped with a 360-degree array of sensors on a half-hemisphere head with a series of tentacle appendages beneath its chassis ending in pincers. It uses repulsorlifts as a primary means of locomotion and is equipped with a blaster.

Black As Night (Droid Cosmetic)

Viper Probe Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this Viper Probe Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.

Standard Issue (Droid Personality)

Viper Probe Droid is subjected to frequent memory wipes, and has little to nothing in the way of personality. It acts according to its basic programming in an efficient and impersonal manner.

Language Processing Unit (Droid Enhancement Upgrade - II)

This Viper Probe Droid has been fitted with a complete database unit on galactic languages, allowing Viper Probe Droid to recite and translate known languages like a protocol droid.
