Prototype: IG-100 MagnaGuard

The IG-100 MagnaGuard is a battle droid designed to combat Jedi opponents through the use of an electrostaff. It is humanoid in design and extremely adaptable, capable of fighting through the loss of limbs and even its head.

Black As Night (Droid Cosmetic)

Proto-Lock has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this IG-100 MagnaGuard to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.

Sarcastic Tendencies (Droid Personality)

Proto-Lock has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, Proto-Lock comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.

Shield Disruptor (Basic) (Combat Droid Upgrade - II)

This IG-100 MagnaGuard has had a basic shield disruptor installed on its chassis, allowing Proto-Lock to temporarily disrupt and weaken weak shields.

Rocket Boosters (Droid Enhancement Upgrade - I)

Proto-Lock has been equipped with small rocket boosters proportionate to its size, allowing this IG-100 MagnaGuard to fly in sustained flight up to 5-meters in height and requires 2 minutes in cooldown between bursts to prevent overheating.
