The E-9 Explorer is a 65-meter-long Assault Ship that is designed as a transport but modified to operate as an armed scout vessel. Hyperdrive capable, it has average maneuverability, speed, armor, and shielding. It was introduced near the end of the Clone Wars as an unarmed transport, but found use by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War in its fight against the Empire with upgrades to its armament.
