The Modified RZ-1 A-wing Interceptor is a 9.6-meter long wedge-shaped Starfighter, modified from the stock RZ-1 to remove heavy weapons and shields in exchange for improved maneuverability and speed. Hyperdrive capable, it has exceptional maneuverability and speed, with only average armor. It was used by the Rebel Alliance during the Age of the Empire and the Galactic Civil War to counter the agile TIE Interceptors and continued to find use years later during the conflict between the First Order and Resistance.
