Prototype: Rapier
The Rapier is a bladed weapon with a sharp point on the end, best suited for thrusting offensive attacks. It has a large sweeping hilt to protect the wielder's hands and a slim blade that is long enough to strike at a distance that is light enough to easily be wielded one-handed.
Rapier has been coated in a thin layer of chromium, giving it a reflective mirror-like finish. It gives this Rapier an unmistakable appearance that draws attention and gives an appearance of luxury.
Rapier has been coated with a poison that can interfere with the body’s motor functions by targeting the muscles and nervous system. The affects can vary from the numbing, paralysis, or slowing of limbs to halting breathing and inducing seizures or sleep. The poison triggers on contact with the skin or bloodstream, with the most severe symptoms manifesting in the immediate area of the wound. Requires the "Poison Weapons Feat" on the Character Sheets to be effective in combat.
