The Lancer-class Frigate is a 250-meter-long Frigate that is designed for anti-starfighter operations. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has poor maneuverability, speed, armor, and shielding. Commissioned by the Galactic Empire as an anti-starfighter defense ship, it was found too expensive to fill its role and saw only limited deployment but found use even among the First Order years later.
