The LE-series Repair Droid is a repair droid manufactured by Cybot Galactica that is intended to operate in a multitude of roles. It is as tall as an average Human, with a small skeletal construction designed to allow it to squeeze into small spaces to work on a variety of machinery. It had programming and specifications to repair a wide range of land and space vehicles and devices while also including limited protocol abilities to communicate with spaceports and astromech abilities to function in a limited co-pilot capacity.
LE-GA1 has been fitted with a built-in comlink that has been encrypted, allowing it to access and communicate securely and safely over various communications networks without additional gear..
LE-GA1 has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
LE-GA1 has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this LE-series Repair Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
An experimental automated repair system has been installed on this LE-series Repair Droid, giving it an ability to perform or assist in the performance of self-diagnosis and self-repair of its mechanical systems. This system slows the droid while it assesses any necessary repairs when dealing with heavy damage, and can perform very basic tasks or actions while assessing necessary repairs.
