The TIE Advanced v1 is a 3.6-meter long prototype Starfighter designed for space superior fighter. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has exceptional maneuverability and speed, with average armor and light shielding. It has smaller solar panels on the inside surface of its foldable wings, requiring it to rely on fuel for its engines rather than solar power significantly limiting its effective range, weapons load, and power storage capacity. The TIE Advanced v1 was developed as a prototype in the early days of the Galactic Empire that never saw wide deployment.
