The HK-model Gladiator Droid, also known as the HK Assassin Unit, is a highly advanced combat and protocol droid designed for subterfuge, infiltration, and combat. It has advanced protocols and redundancies that allow it to continue to fight until the very end and serve as an excellent infiltration droid.
HK-81 "Hekate" has been programmed to serve Leena'shylow as though it was an ideal flesh and blood apprentice. Quiet unless spoken to, HK-81 "Hekate" seeks to continually learn about its environment and the forces at play around it, only offering up relevant information when it seems useful. Anxious to prove itself in combat, HK-81 "Hekate" sometimes bites off more than it can chew in order to impress its owner.
HK-81 "Hekate" has had most of the factory installed safety limitations on operation removed, both in the hardware and software, allowing this HK-model Gladiator Droid to perform acts at the limits of its physical capabilities
Wearing an old set of Krath knight robes, HK-81 "Hekate" is more clothed than the typical HK-series Assassin Droid. Its chassis itself has been coated with matte black and chromed accents to give its face an almost skeletal look. HK-81 "Hekate" has also had its optical sensors changed out to glow a deep royal purple.
Active sound cancelling sound dampeners have been installed across the chassis of HK-81 "Hekate", allowing it to move much more stealthily and quietly than other droids.
HK-81 "Hekate" has been modified with a large hidden compartment inside this HK-model Gladiator Droid's chassis, allowing it to store items up to the size of a small blaster rifle.
