The HK-model Gladiator Droid, also known as the HK Assassin Unit, is a highly advanced combat and protocol droid designed for subterfuge, infiltration, and combat. It has advanced protocols and redundancies that allow it to continue to fight until the very end and serve as an excellent infiltration droid.
Due to a combination of watching too many of a certain type of movies on the Holonet and Malfrost's own independent personality, HK has developed the personality of old fashioned lawman. His preferred types of weapons are slugthrower pistols which he refers to as Big Irons; he only uses other weapons with reluctance and disdain if he does not have access to slugthrower pistols. He refers to everyone has Partner, much to Malfrost's chagrin and he is insistent about bringing nerdowells and outlaws to justice.
HK-model Gladiator Droid has been fitted with an advanced gravity generator with an unregulated governor, allowing this HK-model Gladiator Droid to create an incredibly powerful gravity swell that increases the weight of an enemy and dramatically slows an enemy.
A carbonite projector has been fitted to HK-model Gladiator Droid, allowing this HK-model Gladiator Droid to launch liquid cold carbonite at a target and temporarily freeze them in place or slow them down.
HK-model Gladiator Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this HK-model Gladiator Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
This HK-model Gladiator Droid has been augmented with an advanced targeting system, allowing HK-model Gladiator Droid to track and acquire targets at a much greater proficiency than a standard HK-model Gladiator Droid.
