Prototype: WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle

The WESTAR-M5 is a large blaster rifle that is very accurate at close range, with a flex sight making it accurate in medium-range situations as well. It is capable of powerful armor piercing semi-automatic, burst or automatic firing modes. It also comes equipped stock with an under-barrel grenade launcher that makes the weapon more difficult to wield, but capable of dumb firing up to six grenades one at a time that detonate on impact with a hard surface with a wide blast radius. The under-barrel launchers uses the Explosives skill.

J19 Electroscope (Blaster Weapon TargettIng Enhancement - III)

The top of this WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle has been fitted with a J19 electroscope, allowing Vera up to 8x zoom with four adjustment levels of magnification and low-light capabilities.

Underslung Grenade Launcher (Blaster Rifle Weapon Upgrade - II)

The underside of this WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle has been fitted with a miniaturized grenade launcher, allowing Vera to shoot up to 6 mini frag grenades using the Explosives skill.

Arakyd 900 Gene-Lock (Blaster Weapon Enhancement - II)

High Explosives (Explosives Launcher Ammunition - II)

The ammunition on this WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle has been swapped with highly explosive anti-personnel explosives, allowing the explosives fired from Vera to have a greater impact to the point of being able to damage some light vehicle armor.
