The 3PO-series Protocol Droid is designed with a specialized vocabulator and an encyclopedic knowledge of languages and cultural information. It possesses a standardized humanoid design, available in a wide array of colors but all possessing the same basic form with its notably restrained range of movement. It also possesses an advanced VerboBrain that enables it to quickly analyze new languages and translate them into more well-known ones.
T-3PO has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this 3PO-series Protocol Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
T-3PO has had additional memory installed that increases its computing power. This allows it to perform complex analytical operations at a marginally faster rate, but limits the ability to further customize the 3PO-series Protocol Droid in any other way.
T-3PO has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
