Valefar has recieved redundant programming and a mechanical overhaul that reinforces known weaknesses from the original design that allow this HK-model Gladiator Droid to continue operating and survive much longer against a wide range of attacks. This programming overhaul slightly slows processing times while the mechanical fitments can slightly reduce agility.

Valefar has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, Valefar will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to Valefar.

Valefar has been equipped by Legorii Arconae with a software module designed to be downloaded to the HK-model Gladiator Droid's behavior core. The package replaces the droid's assassination routines with valet and bodyguard protocols, limiting the droids combat capabilities to basic defensive and offensive maneuvers.

Valefar has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this HK-model Gladiator Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
