The BD-1 Cutter Vibroaxe is a long weapon with a hollow durasteel shaft to reduce weight. The axe-shaped head of the weapon uses ultrasonic vibrations to increase cutting effectiveness, making it capable of easily slicing through light armor. It has dampeners installed to reduce the vibrations transferring into the shaft.
