The ID9 Seeker Droid is a model of probe droid consisting of a half-hemisphere dome with a red photoreceptor. It is equipped with four tentacle-like limbs with pincer hands, electro-shock prods, and a blaster. Additionally, they were capable of both hovering and crawling, as well as imitating the sounds of other droid models.

Shiny And Chrome (Droid Cosmetic)

There can be no mistaking Ranger for any other ID9 Seeker Droid. The droid's plating has been painstakingly coated in an application of chrome. The resulting appearance is a highly reflective silver coating that runs the risk of showing each and every minor scratch it endures.

Electric Defense Grid (Droid Modification)

Ranger has been fitted with an electric defense grid on its outer shell that acts as a self-defense mechanism, and when active this ID9 Seeker Droid will give a protective shock to anyone who makes direct contact. This shock will temporarily incapacitate the droid as well for several seconds, as it reboots its own system in reaction to the power fluctuations.

Sarcastic Tendencies (Droid Personality)

Ranger has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, Ranger comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.
