The TIE/LN Starfighter is a 7.2-meter-long Starfighter designed as a short-range space superiority fighter and scout. This vessel has great maneuverability and average speed, but only light armor. Known most commonly as simply the "TIE Fighter", it was the most iconic and common starfighter of the Galactic Empire with the distinctive roar of its engines and shape exuding Imperial power.
