The MK-series Maintenance Droid is a repair droid to either assist or operate as the sole mechanic on a ship. It has tracked locomotion with a pivoting chassis, two clawed limbs and an extensible neck to carry out repairs.
MK-series Maintenence Droid has been fitted with a small extendable arc welder, allowing it to fuse together metal objects to repair or strengthen them.
MK-series Maintenence Droid has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
MK-series Maintenence Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this MK-series Maintenence Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
