Prototype: BlasTech DL-44 "Smuggler Edition" Heavy Blaster Pistol

The BlasTech DL-44 "Smuggler Edition" Heavy Blaster Pistol is a heavily modified variation of the BlasTech DL-44 that retains the same medium range anti-infantry usage along with several adjustments. It has the motion-sensitive barrel scope removed, allowing it to be rapidly drawn from a holster making it deadly in the hands of a quick draw who doesn't rely on the optics to aim. As well as a steady grip that emits a low-power pulse warning whenever the weapon is low on power. Rebel Alliance General and smuggler Han Solo was known to favor such a weapon his entire career.

Cooling Vents (Blaster Modification)

BlasTech DL-44 "Smuggler Edition" Heavy Blaster Pistol has been equipped with vents on the sides that allow the weapon to more quickly cool while the trigger is depressed. While this allows for a much faster rate of fire, but clips will deplete much faster.
