The Jump Pack is an armored back-mounted device. It allows for short rapid bursts from built in burst thrusters only, allowing the user to cover short "jumps" in a single bound. It is designed to allow the user to launch about 6-7 meters in the air for about 2 seconds to either traverse obstructions or evade damage. It saw extensive use during the Galactic Civil War for its combat capabilities.
