The BlasTech A180 is a durable core blaster pistol that is designed to be used in a modular fashion along with additional components and reconfigured into several other forms of blaster weaponry. In this standard pistol configuration, the weapon is extremely accurate with an exceptional rate of semi-automatic fire, but lacking any optical sights is useful primarily as a sidearm in close quarters combat. It was used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic in their fight against the Galactic Empire.
The internals of this BlasTech A-180 Blaster Pistol have been modified with basic blaster suppressor technology, reducing the noise produced by the gas agitation and injection in BlastTech A180 Blaster Pistol.
