SV1 Longview has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this IGV-55 Surveillance Vessel to more easily blend into the darkness of space

The main intelligence compartment of the SV1 Longview features floor-to-ceiling holowalls that display looping star-chart grids, passive signal silhouettes, and scrolling spectral data. These graphics are purely aesthetic designed to keep crew immersed in a recon mindset and to visually mark the vessel as part of the intelligence arm. Panoramic pressure-treated viewports and holo-screen overlays depicting starfield telemetry have been installed for crew briefings or to observe hyperspace visually

Soft indigo backlighting, matte-black durasteel paneling, and the Clan’s sigil etched subtly into the bulkheads create a low-light environment ideal for long-duration observation work. A raised command dais, inactive holographic globes, and mock sensor “spines” protruding from the ceiling further reinforce the theme of a surveillance vessel without offering any mechanical advantage.
