Prototype: NT-242 Longblaster

The NT-242 Longblaster is one of the most powerful sniper rifles in the galaxy, mounted with a high-powered dual zoom scope and capable of firing powerful armor piercing shots. It is capable of firing only three of these powerful shots before overheating the weapon.

J19 Electroscope (Blaster Weapon Targeting Enhancement - III)

The top of this NT-242 Longblaster has been fitted with a J19 electroscope, allowing NT-242 Longblaster up to 8x zoom with four adjustment levels of magnification and low-light capabilities.

Ionizing Focusing Coils (Blaster Weapon Upgrade - II)

NT-242 Longblaster has been modified with ionizing focusing coils, allowing this NT-242 Longblaster to fire a blaster bolt that is partially ionized for increased effectiveness against droids and electrical equipment.
