The IT-S00.2 Medical Droid is a spherical droid capable of diagnosing and administering medical care, with three delicate multiceps allowing it to treat injuries including sealing wounds and bacta therapy.
5T-AN1U has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this IT-S00.2 Medical Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
A suite of surgical tools have been installed inside 5T-AN1U, allowing it to perform various surgical procedures standard IT-S00.2 Medical Droids cannot.
5T-AN1U has developed a personality focused around the superiority of droids. As a result, 5T-AN1U will often question any orders it receives and will not hesitate to present its own alternatives. While still capable of following orders as directed, 5T-AN1U will not comply without at least a partial debate.
This IT-S00.2 Medical Droid has been upgraded with a basic electrical defense grid that still forces 5T-AN1U to shut down when hit with ionized electricity, but prevents any permanent damage or loss of functionality.
