Royal Guard Personal Shield

The Royal Guard Personal Shield is a hand-held personal energy shield constructed of a metal frame and an energy shield that is opaque to anyone looking at it, but which the wielder can see through or extend their blaster through allowing them to advance while firing and remaining protected. It is made available to those in the upper ranks of the Grand Master's Royal Guard as a status symbol of their dedication to protecting the Dark Council. In typical use, it will survive several blaster bolts or a few short duration strikes from a lightsaber.
