Prototype: Viper Probot
The Viper Probot is a miniaturized reconnaissance probe droid used for scouting missions where larger probe droids were impractical. It is equipped with a 360-degree array of short-range sensors on a half-hemisphere head with four appendages beneath its chassis ending in pincers allowing it to walk. It also is fitted with a pair of simple blasters that it can fire with deadly accuracy.
This Viper Probot has been fitted with a complete database unit on galactic languages, allowing Viper Probot to recite and translate known languages like a protocol droid.
Viper Probot has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
Viper Probot makes a mark that is immediately apparent upon first setting eyes upon it. Looking like the victim of an explosion of color, Viper Probot is covered in multi-hued designs and patterns utilizing as many variations as possible. While appearing to be random upon first glance, there is a certain uniformity to the chaotic display of the artist.
