Sand-panther is wild, and its behavior cannot be modified to accept the presence of humanoids. It cannot be trained to abandon its wild instincts and will generally continue to do whatever it wants. As creature handling goes up, a character can better predict what this creature will do and empathize and understand it despite being unable to tame it. With proficiency (+3) a member could manage to successfully own and cage this creature but not safely interact with it and influence its behavior, with a better understanding and ability to manage this Sand-panther coming with mastery (+5).

Mild: Sand-panther’s claws are naturally coated in an odorless, tasteless venom that can paralyze its prey after repeated strikes that draw blood. In an adult humanoid, it requires an antivenom treatment or several hours to work through the bloodstream.

Sand-panther lacks an inherent drive to be the leader when around other creatures, especially when among fellow Sand-panther’s. They are usually content to follow the lead of others, especially one they associate as their “Alpha”. They do not look to assert their dominance by means of aggressive action by vocalizing with their respective method of communication (howling, hissing, roaring, etc.).
