Prototype: Varactyl
The Varactyl is a giant reptavian with brilliantly colored scales and plumage. They were herbivorous natives of Utapau. Incredibly obedient and loyal as mounts, these creatures were able to move at speed across uneven and greatly sloped terrain. Their plumage ran a spectrum of blue and greens and could grow to lengths of nearly 15 meters.
