The Marauder Chief's Armor is made of the same armor plates as the more recognizable Mandalorian armor, with a battle helmet, shoulder pauldrons, wrist gauntlets, breastplate, codpiece, kneepads, as well as leg guards all clasped over a full body glove providing the wearer with comfort and protection. The gauntlets of the armor contained beskar plates that could be fanned out using built-in servo that acted as shields. The resistance fighter Enfys Nest wore this armor as she led the Cloud-Riders pirates in their fight against the Crimson Dawn syndicate.
Beskar Fan-Blades
The gauntlets on Huan Varno are equipped with a set of very thin fan-blades made of Beskar. Stored inside the gauntlet when not in use, these fan blades can be extended to provide additional protection to Foxen Erinos by deflecting blaster bolts or resisting melee attacks from energy weapons. Due to their thin construction, these Beskar blades are not lightsaber resistant.
Huan Varno has been fitted with an experimental optical camouflage generation system, allowing this Marauder Chief's Armor to hide from the naked eye and visual sensors by being rendered invisible. To maintain this, the user of Marauder Chief's Armor must remain completely still.
Huan Varno has been fitted with an advanced energy dispersion system and large energy sinks, allowing this Marauder Chief's Armor to completely soak up stun and electrical discharge.
Huan Varno is fitted with a climate-controlled body-glove, that allows the wearer of this Marauder Chief's Armor to operate in extreme temperature conditions without loss of function, or freezing or burning to death.
Huan Varno has been enhanced with a kiirium coating that allows this Marauder Chief's Armor the ability to disperse immediate moderate damage from heat weapons.
The helmet on this Marauder Chief's Armor has been fitted with an auditory enhancement system, allowing the user to increase or decrease the volume of noises around them to better hear or block out various sound waves. It has an auto-volume control to assist with overcoming the effects of a flashbang grenade.
Crafted with vigilant care, this armor is a clever construction of recognizable, salvaged and refurbished Mandalorian armor plates and various pieces from ship hulls and machinery, creating a full suit of sharp, uneven edges and smooth, iron-hearted lines. While many pieces are painted a matte black to match the underlying body glove, many are striped with cordovan and dark burgundy, a pattern redoubled in the armor's scrapmetal skirts tied with strands of loose, fluttering cloth and knotted with feathers of red-brown and silver-blue. The face plate, carved like wood telling a story, evokes a razor-mawed oceanic creature with a mane of dagger feathers.
