Prototype: GALAAR-15 Blaster Rifle

The GALAAR-15 Blaster Rifle is a larger carbine variant of the WESTAR-35 Blaster Pistol requiring two hands to wield. It is constructed in an optimized design and from an alloy that absorbs heat to keep the weapon cool enough to allow for one of the fastest sustained firing rates among weapons of its type, making it a deadly weapon in close-quarters combat yet accurate enough to be useful in medium-range combat despite its lack of optics. It was used prominently by the Mandalorian organization Death Watch during the Clone Wars.
