The TIE/RB Heavy Starfighter is an 8.9-meter long Starfighter designed for starfighter combat. Unlike the regular TIE/LN Starfighter, it was equipped with a pressurized cockpit and was distinguished by it’s extra pod housing more powerful laser cannons. It has no hyperdrive, but has great maneuverability and speed with heavy armor and no shielding. The pilot is assisted by an MGK-300 droid brain, which acted in a similar manner to an astromech droid.
