The BD-unit Backpack Droid is a small bipedal droid designed to assist with research and exploration in remote and dangerous locations. It has a flat rectangular head with two photoreceptors, a small body, and two legs with clampable feet, allowing it to climb a person's body or other surfaces and traverse many different kinds of terrain . It is equipped with various tools; including a holocam and holoprojector, computer link, and a spotlight.
W1-CK "Wick" has been programmed to serve its owner without question. Acting much like a butler, W1-CK "Wick" will act for the most part in silence, and will adhere to the literal definition of its instructions to the best of its abilities.
The advanced memory upgrade provides additional computing power to this BD-unit Backpack Droid, allowing it to perform complex analytical operations at much faster rate than before.
W1-CK "Wick" makes a mark that is immediately apparent upon first setting eyes upon it. Looking like the victim of an explosion of color, W1-CK "Wick" is covered in multi-hued designs and patterns utilizing as many variations as possible. While appearing to be random upon first glance, there is a certain uniformity to the chaotic display of the artist.
W1-CK "Wick" has been modified with a small hidden compartment inside this BD-unit Backpack Droid's chassis, allowing it to store items up to the size of a lightsaber hilt.
