The L-1 Tactical Droid is designed to plan battle strategies and can take on the role of war advisor, limited by the plans they are programmed with and lack of flexibility and slow processing in reacting to surprises from the enemy. It possesses a standardized humanoid design, with plating and a pair of photoreceptors and a restrained range of movement.
