The Viper Probe Droid is a deep-space exploration and reconnaissance probe droid used for long range scouting. It is equipped with a 360-degree array of sensors on a half-hemisphere head with a series of tentacle appendages beneath its chassis ending in pincers. It uses repulsorlifts as a primary means of locomotion and is equipped with a blaster.
The advanced memory upgrade provides additional computing power to this Viper Probe Droid, allowing it to perform complex analytical operations at much faster rate than before.
V3-X looks like a standard-issue Viper Probe Droid but it could be said to have seen better days. Looking more like it's been out in the field for months, the droid's metal plating is showing signs of wear and tear, with scrapes across its chassis and flecks of paint missing from its black coating. V3-X retains its functionality despite this.
V3-X has developed a personality focused around the superiority of droids. As a result, V3-X will often question any orders it receives and will not hesitate to present its own alternatives. While still capable of following orders as directed, V3-X will not comply without at least a partial debate.
