The Battalion is a battalion strength unit with a dedicated headquarters (HQ) staff that is not normally involved in combat. This HQ oversees and enhances the interactions between the different companies and elements that make it up improving their capabilities allowing each to perform at a higher level than they would independently. The Battalion includes a 52 member command and support team that includes specialized medical staff, engineers, and logistics, as well as an interface with military intelligence that improves field knowledge during missions for assigned companies further helping them successfully carry out operations. It also has a 38 member security detail made up of trained combat soldiers if the HQ came under attack equipped with blaster rifles as well as the necessary droids and equipment to maintain operations. Each Battalion is augmented by 4 Infantry Companies, the capabilities of which determine the specialized roles the Battalion can fill.
